Dr Sudheesh graduated in 2009 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India and his interest in oral surgery led him to pursue further training and obtain his Masters (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2014 from India. He joined the same institute and worked in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, where he was associated with a hospital practice and managed dental emergencies as well as oral surgery referrals. During this period he also obtained training in Dental Implantology. Thereafter in 2017, he was appointed to the Faculty of Dentistry, AIMST University, Malaysia, wherein his work involved management of dental infection and pain; simple and complex tooth extractions including wisdom tooth extractions; and dental trauma management including composite bonding of chipped teeth.
Apart from clinical practice Dr Sudheesh has interest in academics and research, has seven years of teaching experience, published articles in peer-reviewed journals and given talks at various events.
As part of his professional development, he obtained his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2020.
Dr Sudheesh focuses on management of dental pain, trauma and infections and has a special interest in oral surgery.
